"The
sign in 'Wheel of Fortune' is a multi-layered cluster of metal
and flashing lights, coupled to a digital display on which
the amount of dollars you might win whilst playing this game
rapidly increases. Continuing to turn throughout the piece,
the sign recalls the floating hoarding at the beginning of
Ridley Scott's Bladerunner, or perhaps one of those
baroque Frank Stella's wherein the reticulated aluminium of
the support cavorts uneasily with the overall structure of
the design. The image here is distractingly complicated, beautiful
yet eerie in its frantic shimmer and spin. One is taken in,
literally and metaphorically, by its relentless loop."

"Visually stimulating Las
Vegas-style neon revolves on understated screens around the
foyer, but only upon sitting down at the 'video-relaxation-units'
is their message fully appreciated...This is a reactionary
piece, perfect for its setting..."
